Fille dans le vent is a solo performance that explores the psychology of colors and how they can influence us.
Color is light, traveling in waves from the sun, and when this light reaches the human eye, its wavelengths interact in different ways, shaping our perceptions. In the retina, they are converted into electrical impulses that are transmitted to the hypothalamus—the part of the brain that regulates our hormones and endocrine system. Although we are not consciously aware of this process, our eyes and bodies are constantly adapting to these wavelengths of light.
Color is also energy, and its physical effects on us have been repeatedly proven through experiments—particularly when blind individuals were asked to identify colors using only their fingertips, and all succeeded. Colors connect to the body, mind, emotions, and the balance between these three states.
This performance moves between earth and air, merging circus techniques with dance, aerial acrobatics with emotions, video with the mind, and the body with the soul.
