A journey through the universe of Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter, Shelters includes two iconic early works by the London-based creator, Fragments and Cult; and a third, Under a Rock, created for Companhia Instável. From the powerful and humorous depiction of the dynamics of a love relationship represented in Fragments (the first piece he choreographed); through the dark and profound look at the forces guiding today’s society, expressed in Cult (awarded in London); to conclude with Under a Rock, where Hofesh Shechter revisits the theme of rituals.
